Blue Louisa: A blog Covering Central Virginia & national politics from a progressive perspective
Guns save lives. I have seen this a lot lately. I wonder what all the victims that have died by gun violence would say if they had a vote. I think they would be in favor of some changes to our gun laws. The current laws didn’t work out for them so well.
Second Amendment laws should reflect the times we live in. If they do not, then we are doomed to have more tragic events. I think this is the definition of insanity.
The board of supervisors passed the Second Amendment sanctuary county idea—I’m not sure what to call it. Does this mean when new gun laws are passed they are to be ignored by those counties that voted themselves sanctuaries? Laws concerning guns should not be optional depending on where you may live.
I cannot believe there are even any arguments about gun laws that could make our schools, places of business, churches and anywhere else that people gather safe and secure.
